EP - 5 Nusa Penida Island Bali, EVERYTHING to know before you go ! Places to visit in Nusa Penida
After Exploring Ubud, Bali, We travelled to Nusa Penida Island in Indonesia. Just in case if you have missed watching previous episode. Kelingking Beach Sunset - Here we experienced a beautiful sunset from the viewpoint & it was such a great experience. Here you can also go down to the beach by stairs which takes around 1 hour to get there, we skipped to go there. Nusa Majesty Bungalow - After this, we reached our Hotel in Nusa Penida, we stayed at “Nusa Majesty Bungalow” which was suggested by our driver Mr. Teddy & it’s in the Central location so it would be easy for us. Stay at this hotel was average, this small hotel lacks staff, so its like 1 person giving service to all the rooms in the hotel. Hotel Tariff - IDR - 3,60,000 (1,850 INR) for double occupancy including breakfast for March month. Dinner at Bollywood Cuisine Restaurant - After this we had our dinner at Bollywood Cuisine Restaurant, It’s an Indian Restaurant. We had Paneer Tikka Masala & Mix Veg. Nusa Majesty Bungalow and Bollywood cuisine restaurant is adjacent to each other. Dinner Cost - Paneer Tikka Masala - 1,15,000 IDR (INR 600) Mix Veg - 98,000 IDR (INR 510) After this, we ended our day 1 in Nusa Penida Next Morning 24th March Angel’s Billabong Beach - Angel's Billabong and Broken beach are 200 meters away from each other. We also saw a beautiful view of Broken Beach from the big mountain & the view was really amazing to see. Coconut Water - After this we had a refreshing Coconut Water to beat the heat of the Islands Coconut water Price - 25,000 IDR (INR 130) Crystal Bay Beach - After this, we travelled around 15 km and reached Crystal Bay Beach here also the beach was very clean with an amazing view. Lunch near Crystal Beach - After this we had our lunch near Crystal Beach we had a Chicken Sandwich & grilled Fish in the lunch. There are many shacks at the crystal beach. Lunch Cost - Chicken Sandwich - 50,000 IDR (260 INR) Grilled Fish - 70,000 IDR (360 INR) Snorkeling at Banjar Nyuh Harbour - After this, we traveled around 10 km from Crystal Beach & reached at Banjar Nyuh Harbour for snorkeling, We decided to go for a private boat. Which included 3 places for Snorkelling - Manta Bay, Gamat Point & SD Point Snorkeling Cost at Sharing - Rs 2500 Approx Snorkelling Cost Private Boat - Rs 8,500 Person who assisted us for the snorkelling is actually a office staff, he does not usually go out with the customers. Other filed staff was average, so i will suggest you to try out some other operator for snorkellling. Manta Bay - Our first point of Snorkelling was “Manta Bay” Here people come to see the Manta Ray fish and fortunately we saw the fish from very close distance during the snorkeling. Chances of seeing Manta Ray are less, though people plan this activity with hope to see Manta Ray. Gamat Point - After this, we did the snorkelling at the 2nd point here the depth of the water was a little less. we saw here the different kinds of fish under the water. SD Point - After 15 mins of Boat ride we did the Snorkelling at the 3rd point known as Gamat Point. Overall the Snorkelling experience was good we enjoyed a lot. Hotel near Diamond Beach - After we reached our Hotel we booked our accommodation at Lempeh Jungle Cottage near Diamond Beach. Next day we wanted to see Sunrise at Diamond beach so thought of changing hotel location and moved to this hotel. Hotel Tariff - Rs 2,100 for double occupancy including breakfast for March month Hotel name - Lempeh jungle cottage. After this we ended our 2nd day in Nusa Penida Next Day Morning – 25th March Sunrise at Diamond Beach - In the Morning at 5 am we reached Diamond Beach to see the beautiful Sunrise. It was a really great experience to see the Sunrise here. After this, we ended our Nusa Penida Tour. Driver with whom we did this journey: Teddy - +62 823-5942-5353 We paid him 12k in Indian currency for two half days and one full day.( Payment was done in IDR only) but this estimate is post conversion. Info regarding Gilli island. If from Sanur to Nusa Penida from Nusa Penida to Gili Terawangan, every day there are 5 fast boat companies leaving at 8.30 am and 9 am from Sanur port. the name theree angle trip. Travel duration is approximately 4 hours from Sanur to Gili. You can buy tickets online or through a tour agent and buy directly at the port. But it is more popular via Padang Bai port if you want to go to Gili - from Gili to - Penida - to Sanur. because the duration of the journey is approximately 2 hours from Padang Bai port to Gili. There are 10 company fast boats serving visitors if they want to cross. starting at 8.30 am until the last fast boat is at 2.30 pm. buy tickets online and buy them directly at the ticket counter there.
