Should Jakob Ingebrigtsen SHOULD NOT Transition to the 5km (yet). Jakob Ingebrigtsen has lost his last 3 major championships in the WC 2022 and 2023 and most recently the 2024 Paris Olympic Final. Yet he has conversely won his last 3 major championships in the 5000m followed by a dominant 3000m world record prompting many to suggest that he should move up to the 5km distance from the 1500m. In this video, I argue that SHOULD NOT Transition to the 5km (yet).
