Nordkap Tour 2025 #4 – Nach 7 Tagen am Nordkap angekommen … und nur 5 Stunden Zeit! #nordkapp #norge
Nordkap erreicht – Landschaft, Kirkeporten & Roadtrip im hohen Norden Nach 7 Tagen unterwegs – inklusive eines Abstechers nach Vardø – haben wir unser großes Ziel erreicht: das Nordkap. Die Fahrt dorthin führte uns durch eine atemberaubende Landschaft, in der Zeit und Kilometer plötzlich eine ganz andere Bedeutung bekommen. Selbst längere Wartezeiten an Baustellen gehören hier einfach dazu – und machen die Reise nur noch intensiver. Seit diesem Jahr gilt am Nordkap die 5-Stunden-Regel, Übernachten ist dort nicht mehr erlaubt. Trotzdem konnten wir alles sehen, inklusive der Nordkaphallen. Beim anschließenden Shopping haben wir allerdings unser Nordkap-Zertifikat vergessen – ein guter Grund, wiederzukommen. Dann auch für die Wanderung zum wahren Nordkap. Nach dem Besuch ging es weiter nach Skarsvåg und auf eine Wanderung zum Kirkeporten – ein absolutes Highlight, das man gesehen haben muss. Einige Dinge mussten wir leider auslassen, werden sie aber bei einer nächsten Reise definitiv nachholen. Unsere Reise führt uns weiter Richtung Alta – mehr dazu im Teil 5. We Reached the North Cape – Scenic Drives, Kirkeporten & Roadtrip in the Far North After 7 days on the road – including a detour to Vardø – we finally reached our big goal: the North Cape. The drive took us through stunning landscapes where time and distance no longer seemed to match. Even longer waiting times at roadworks are simply part of traveling in northern Norway – and made the journey even more intense and memorable. Since this year, the 5-hour rule applies at the North Cape, meaning overnight stays are no longer allowed. Nevertheless, we were able to see everything, including the North Cape Hall. Unfortunately, while shopping afterward, we completely forgot to buy our North Cape certificate – which means one thing for us: we’ll be back. Next time also to hike to the true North Cape. After our visit, we continued on to Skarsvåg and went hiking to Kirkeporten – an absolute highlight and a must-see when visiting this area. Sadly, we had to skip a few things along the way, but we’ll definitely come back to explore them on a future trip. Our journey then continues toward Alta – more about that in Part 5.
