Whale Watching in Northern Iceland | Goðafoss and Hauganes

1 month ago 14

Today we continued our Ring Road tour of Iceland and visited the highlights of the north.
Our first stop was the beautiful Goðafoss waterfall. This waterfall is just a short drive from the Myvatn area. You can’t miss this spot when you are in the north.

After a quick pitstop at the Laufás turf houses, we continued on to Hauganes where we took a whale watching tour. Hauganes is one of a few places in Iceland where you are guaranteed to see humpback whales.
