Can Jakob Ingebrigtsen Break Records? His Copenhagen Half Marathon Debut

This is something you must have been waiting for! Jakob Ingebristen making his debut in the half marathon, tomorrow in Copenhagen 2024. Ofcourse Jakob doesn’t need any further introduction, as the former 1500m and now 5000m olympic champion. There were already some rumors, however last night in the Diamond league he already announced the possibility of running.

The field in Copenhagen Half Marathon 2024 will be Massive. There are 14 runners with a sub 60 half marathon PB. Including the current world record holder himself Jacob Kiplimo from Uganda. Who ran 57:31 in Lisbon back in 2021.

So what is Jakob capable of over this distance? Conditions will be good, around 14 degrees and not windy. They start tomorrow at 9:30. The course is also as flat as a pancake!
