RESULTS Men's 3000m FINAL WORLD INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS NANJING, CHINA 2025

Jakob Ingebrigtsen, the reigning world indoor 3000m champion, prevailed over Ethiopian phenomenon Berihu Aregawi in a superb finish to the final 150m. The Norwegian clocked a season-best time of 7:46.09, while Aregawi clocked a season-best time of 7:46.25, also securing silver, and Australian Ky Robinson clocked 7:47.09, taking bronze.

If Jakob Ingebrigtsen wins the 1500 m tomorrow he will be the second athlete to do so since only the Ethiopian legend Haile Gebrselassie has done it since 1999.
