This one is definitely high on our list! ????

Múlagljúfur Canyon in Southeast Iceland is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about trails in the country — and once you see it, you'll understand why.

The trailhead is just a 10-minute drive from Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon, making it an easy add-on if you're already heading that way.

Here's what to expect:
⭐ 3.8 km (~2.4 mi) round trip
⭐ 180 meters (~600 ft) elevation gain
⭐ Steep terrain
⭐ Sturdy hiking boots and a reasonable level of fitness are a must

The higher you climb, the more the canyon reveals itself — it's dramatic, expansive, and completely worth the effort.

Just remember to keep a safe distance from the cliffsides at all times ????

If Fjallsárlón is already on your itinerary, Múlagljúfur deserves a spot on the list too. You won't regret it.
