Iceland Vlog: Infinity Pools, Basalt Columns + Textile Museum | Knitting Under the Midnight Sun

1 day ago 2

Today’s Iceland adventure starts off at the most beautiful infinity pool I’ve ever seen, whale watching (in the pool!) followed by a hike down to stunning basalt cliffs formed by ancient lava flows. After a stop at the Textile Museum in Blönduós, we explore one of the country’s dreamiest landscapes – moss-covered lava fields that felt like something out of a dream (and matched perfectly with my Mosi sweater).

From quiet hikes to inspiring fiber art and spontaneous whale sightings, the last two days of our trip was packed with everything that made this trip so special - nature, warm geothermal pools, yarn, and friendship.

Come along for the journey, and come back next week for the final video in this series as I explore Iceland’s south coast.
