Reykjadalur Iceland Travel Video

During summer of 2024 we wanted to do something unique in Iceland and we wanted to hike and experience the hotspring river Reykjadalur.

Reykjadalur is a 45 minutes drive from Reykjavik.
This hike is free. You only have to pay parking and it has everything: Beautiful mountain sceneries, Icelandic horses, hot springs and the hot river which is something really unique.

Despite the challenging Icelandic weather we were determined to complete the hike.

the geothermal river area is like a hot tub surrounded in nature and very relaxing.
