Iceland Vlog Day 3 | $100 for 3 days? Grocery Shop With Me (Prices), Skogafoss Hike

Day 3 of our Iceland adventure was packed with unreal landscapes and budget travel wins! We started our morning at the iconic Skogafoss waterfall, where we hiked the Waterfall Way trail — and it absolutely blew us away. Did you know there are over 20 waterfalls along this trail? It's one of the most scenic hikes in South Iceland and a must-do for any nature lover or photographer visiting Iceland.

After soaking in the beauty of Skógafoss, we took a detour to discover abandoned Icelandic houses — a haunting yet beautiful look into Iceland's past. These traditional houses are a unique part of the country’s culture and make for the perfect hidden gem stop if you're on a South Coast road trip.

In the evening, we stopped in Vik to stock up at Kronan, one of Iceland’s budget-friendly grocery stores. Eating out in Iceland is expensive, so we shopped smart! For just $100 CAD, we grabbed enough food for 5 people for 3–4 days — think Skyr yogurt, Icelandic snacks, chicken dinners and more. This is a huge Iceland food tip for travelers trying to visit Iceland on a budget.
