Norway has donated eight Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine, adding to the tanks previously received from Poland and Canada. On April 12, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense announced its intention to fulfill a prior commitment by donating eight of its Leopard 2A4 variant to Ukraine, joining other Western countries in pledging more substantial weaponry to Ukraine. The statement also indicated that the eight Leopard 2 tanks donated by Norway had arrived in Ukraine just before Easter.
