20 nations will give additional armaments to Ukraine, said U.S. Defense Minister Lloyd Austin.
Austin and US Chief of Staff General Mark Milley attended the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group conference.
Afterward, two authorities conducted a news conference.
Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Colombia, and Ireland attended the last summit, Austin added.
Austin remarked, "There have been very pleasing statements about increased help to Ukraine." 20 nations have promised Ukraine additional armaments. Many nations provide cannon ammunition, coastal defense systems, tanks, and other armored equipment.
Austin hailed Danirmarka, who promised to send Ukraine Harpoon missiles and launchers, and Czecia, who promised tanks, rockets, and helicopters.
Norway, Greece, Poland, and Italy would also provide Ukraine modern ball systems and ammunition, the US minister added.
Austin said the Ukrainian government has been informed that the U.S. wants improved HMARS rocket systems, but they regularly address their demands with the Ukrainian Defense Minister.
Austin said the weapons they offered in response to an inquiry about the danger of delivering U.S. weapons were not "essential ammo" for the U.S. military, thus the risk was minimal.
