After three years of dating, #princess #Märtha #Louise of #norway #announced her #engagement to #gwynethpaltrow Paltrow -approved #shaman #Durek #Vivett earlier this year. The princess announced this week that she will retire from royal engagements once the couple marries.

In a video posted to her Instagram account in Norwegian, she explained that her decision was made after consulting with her father, #king #harald V. In this video, we’ll take a look at why Martha Louise left the royal family to marry an #american Shaman!

Welcome to best royal affairs! Lets start!

#Racist and #scandalous statements have torn apart a royal family after one of the heirs fell in love with an American #celebrity . No, not that royal family. In recent decades, royals all over the world have stepped down from their official positions due to scandals and family #feuds , or to marry commoners or divorcees.

This week, a Norwegian princess resigned from her royal duties due to her feelings for a modern-day shaman. Princess Martha Louise, the 51-year-old daughter of King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway, married Durek Verrett, an American celebrity shaman and inventor of the Spirit Optimizer, a healing amulet that he sells on his website for $222, in June.

Since their engagement, the Norwegian news media and public have criticized Mr. Verrett for claiming he used the amulet to fight the coronavirus, implying that cancer was a choice, and referring to himself as a "hybrid species of reptilian."

"Every time a member of the royal family gets engaged, it causes media storms," Martha Louise said in a cheerful Instagram video this week. She, Mr. Verrett, and the royal family made "some adjustments" following the recent "media discussions," she added, including her dropping her official roles.

The princess and Mr. Verrett will "seek to distinguish more clearly between their activities and the Royal House of Norway" from now on, the royal family said in a statement, thanking her for performing her duties "with warmth, care, and deep commitment."
