The UK economy continues to decline with seemingly endless negative reports and predictions that there is much worse news to come. Brexit has been a disaster and yet the Tory leadership, pressured by their backbenchers, continue to talk of the opportunities of Brexit, none of which have been found so far. Labour under Keir Starmer have made it clear that the UK will never rejoin the EU or even the Single Market or Customs union under their leadership. In this video I discuss the two groups who were most responsible for voting to leave the EU in the referendum, the privileged older generations who had nothing to lose and had little concern for the future and the much larger group of poorly educated people who were easily persuaded by arguments of 'taking back control' and stopping immigration.
