Do you know that the sun never sets in Norway? Temporarily anyway.
In the northern city of Tromsø, during the months of May and July, the sun only sets for 3-5 hours each night. And in June, nearer the summer solstice, the sun doesn’t set at all.
I can’t imagine going to school there.
Svalbard is the place in Norway where the midnight sun occurs for the longest period. Here, the sun doesn't set between 20 April and 22 August.
