Finland has been ranked as the world’s happiest country for the eighth year in a row, with neighbouring countries Denmark, Iceland and Sweden all in the top four.
Despite Israel being under attack, the country has come in at 8th place ahead of Australia, which has dropped out of the top 10, now sitting at 11th.
The results are based on a survey of 100,000 people across 140 countries, who are asked to rate their lives on a scale of 1 to 10.
