IA Ananthram is one of the most experienced arbiters of India. He has been match arbiter as well as sector arbiter at the previous Olympiads. At the Chennai Olympiad 2022, he was the venue in charge as well as a member of the appeals committee.

We speak to Ananthram about his role as a venue in charge and what that entailed. We also talk about the 3-fold repetition controversy which took place between Norway and Mongolia and how the appeals committee dealt with the issue.
