What Is Included in a Cruise
When booking a cruise, the stated cost on the website is not often the true. Once you get to the payment screen, the cruise line typically gives you the actual amount. There, you will notice the cruise line has added hundreds of dollars in port taxes and fees to the per-person totals. Depending on the region and the cruise duration, these can range from 200 to 600 (or more).

Further, while your cruise ship will take you to some fantastic destinations, you will need to pay to get to the cruise ship. Your cruise fare does not include port transfers. If you are flying into the embarkation port, you must also budget for those costs. Once at the airport, the cruise line will most likely offer transfers. Each way, these will usually run between $40 to $80 a person. Of course, you can opt for other forms of transportation at different rates.

Unlike on land, your cruise ship costs most likely do not include Wi-Fi. Internet is an additional charge on many contemporary cruise lines. Plus, it is not cheap. It can run from $15 to $30 a day per device. So, you can easily spend hundreds of dollars more on the internet for a 7-night cruise.

Cruisers also need to budget for gratuties. These are usually a daily charge to your account, that range from $15 to $20 a person. So, for a family of four you could easily spend and extra $200+ for a week. Plus, keep in mind
