The Norway Chess Blitz tournament takes place May 30, 2022 in Stavanger, Norway as part of the Norway Chess tournament. The format is a round-robin among 10 players. The time control is three minutes plus a two-second increment. The winner of the blitz tournament will choose his number in the main tournament. Number two will get the highest available number, the number three the second highest, and so on.
