Denmark will donate 100 refurbished Leopard one tanks to Ukraine, with the first delivery expected before the summer. The tanks were modernized and upgraded by the Danish Army, and Ukraine will use them to train its soldiers. Denmark has also pledged 7 billion Danish kroner ($1 billion) for civil, military, and economic assistance to Ukraine. The funds will be used for assistance in 2023 and could help cover the costs of replacing military equipment in 2024-2027. In addition, Denmark and Norway plan to transfer 8,000 rounds of artillery to Ukraine. The Danish Defense Ministry hopes to deliver Ksar artillery systems to Ukraine next month. Denmark also signed an agreement with Germany two months ago regarding Leopard one tanks, and there may be the possibility of supplying Leopard two tanks in the future. Ukrainian specialists will have the opportunity to service and repair these weapons before they arrive in Ukraine.
