Many Russian soldiers are facing a lingering death from radiation poisoning after being ordered to dig trenches at the Chernobyl disaster site. Ukrainians living near the nuclear power station had reportedly warned the Russians when they arrived against setting up camp in the forest. However, Russian soldiers spent around a fortnight in the vicinity of the radioactive nuclear reactor in March last year. Locals say the Russian men crossed from Belarus and dug defensive positions in the nearby 'Red Forest'. Watch the video to find out why did Putin order his troop to go to such hostile place?
