A new shipment of German Leopard 2 tanks has arrived in Ukraine. At the same time, the US announced that they will send modern American M1 Abrams tanks. Moscow considers such deliveries a dangerous provocation.

In addition to the tanks, 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles were delivered to the conflict zone in Ukraine, along with two armored repair and evacuation vehicles.

The German army has been training Ukrainian tank crews and soldiers who will operate the Marder IFVs for several months.
