Russia has reportedly reinforced its seized outpost on Snake Island with additional surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems. Experts say multiple Tor and Pantsir short-range air defence systems are now involved in the defence of the small island. Experts say the arrival of M30/31 guided rockets and HIMARS launchers in Ukraine could pose problems for the Russian military. Despite a continued battle for 109 days, neither Russia nor Ukraine is ready to let go of the small Snake Island.
