Oslo mayor raises Palestinian flag to show solidarity with Palestinians in Norway and Gaza

“It is very important to highlight that Oslo should be a city for everyone.”

The mayor of Oslo, Anne Lindboe, marked United Nations International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People by raising the Palestinian flag at the city hall.

Lindboe said she wanted to show solidarity with the Palestinian people in Norway and for those who have lost their lives in Gaza.

She also added that Oslo had previously held a commemoration for the Israelis killed on 7 October to show solidarity with Oslo’s Jewish minority.
