Norway is facing extremely low temperatures below -25° after a snowstorm hit the southern part of the country, covering it with snow. On Monday, January 4, 2024, Kautokeino recorded a temperature of minus 43.5 degrees Celsius. The large amount of snowfall affected mail and garbage collection services. Residents were advised to work from home instead of risking the dangerous weather conditions.
