Northern Lights Shimmer Over Norwegian Sky
Dazzling colors from the aurora borealis shimmered in the night sky over Sortland, Norway, video recorded on November 2 shows.
Footage of the northern lights recorded by Terje Nesthus shows different shades of green, white, and purple actively shimmering in real time.
Nesthus told Storyful that while auroras are often seen in his area, this “case was abnormal” as the northern lights seemed “active and wild.”
Nesthus said, “People who lived here all their life had not seen anything like it before.”
