Nordic Mythology Expert REACTS to Hellblade

Hey guys welcome back to another episode of Experts React, today back at it is our famous Doctor Natalie Van Dausen and she will be reacting to Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice, as a scholar of Nordic history, our guest offers a unique perspective on the game's portrayal of Viking culture, mythology, and mental illness.

Throughout the video, the historian provides insightful commentary on various aspects of the game, including its use of Nordic runes, its depiction of Norse gods and goddesses, and its exploration of Senua's psychological struggles.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a 2017 action-adventure game developed and published by the British video game development studio Ninja Theory. Set in a dark fantasy world inspired by Norse mythology and Celtic culture, the game follows Senua, a Pict warrior who must make her way to Helheim by defeating otherworldly entities and facing their challenges, in order to rescue the soul of her dead lover from the goddess Hela.
