Netanyahu orders evacuation to pursue Rafah offensive deemed a "disaster" by US

Sky News has reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the military to develop a plan to evacuate civilians from Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. The US had previously warned Israel that a Rafah operation would be a “disaster” without planning.
Meanwhile, Jan Egeland, Secretary-General of the Norwegian Refugee Council, stated, "No war can be allowed in a gigantic refugee camp," warning of a "bloodbath" if Israeli operations expand there.
Since Israel's military expanded its assault into southern Palestinian cities such as Khan Younis, more than half of Gaza's population, some 1.4 million Palestinians - have fled to Rafah, according to the main United Nations agency that aids Palestinian refugees in Gaza, known as Unrwa.
