A cruise ship preparing to dock in Sydney Harbour is reported to have an estimated 800 COVID-19 positive passengers on board.
A spokesperson from Princess Cruises told Sky News, “these guests are mildly symptomatic or asymptomatic and are isolating in their staterooms”.
“All unimpacted guests are wearing masks and this will continue when they disembark in Sydney on November 12.
“We have been proactively preparing for and managing incidences of COVID-19 and continue to work closely with NSW Health, including adhering to their guidelines."
The cruise company has arranged private transport for the impacted guests to travel to their home or hotel for isolation.
