He was jailed for 25 years for strangling and mutilating his ex-girlfriend, but today a murderer was freed on parole 6 years before his sentence was up. Lyndsay Van Blanken was just 18 when she was stalked and killed by William Matheson in Queens Park.

Today, her family says the justice system has let them down.
