Mountaineer and Bremont Ambassador Kristin Harila is a force to be reckoned with. In 2022, her challenge ‘Bremont 14 Peaks’, a monumental effort to become the first woman in history and the fastest person ever to climb all 14 peaks above 8,000m in less than 6 months and 6 days. The challenge sadly had to come to an end due to issues obtaining permits to complete the final 2 mountains in Tibet, 'Cho Oyu and Shishapangma' despite climbing the first phase in record time.
Now, undeterred by her previous setback, Kristin Harila is back and ready to tackle the mountains that had previously escaped her. The Norwegian mountaineer and adventurer, has taken the first step towards breaking the world record for climbing all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter peaks in less than six months, having arrived in Tibet to start her journey to achieve this record-breaking feat.
