Jurgen Klopp hopes Mohamed Salah and Liverpool are close to 'exploding' ahead of their Sunday trip to Premier League leaders Arsenal.
Salah - last season's joint-top scorer in the Premier League - has scored only two goals in the league so far this campaign, amid sharp focus by Manchester City forward Haaland scoring 20 goals, but Klopp said the comparisons were unfair.
"Nobody in the world can cope with the Haaland situation in the moment, it's crazy what he's doing," said the Reds boss, speaking om Friday ahead of Liverpool's clash against Arsenal on Sunday.
"He's an exceptional player in an exceptional team and that obviously works pretty well together and I don't think we should compare in this moment anyone with that.
"You can say whatever you want about Mo and is it his season so far? No, like for all of us. We have to make sure that the team performs on the level that everybody can be the best version of themselves again."
Liverpool have endured a difficult start to the season, winning just twice in the league so far to leave them a mammoth 11 points behind Mikel Arteta's team, albeit with a game in hand on the Gunners.
