The North Korean leader's sister Kim Yo-jong, has once again issued a statement toward Seoul.
While stressing the North's possession of nuclear forces, Kim made clear that the South is not the North's "principal enemy."
Our Kim Dami has the details.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's sister, Kim Yo-jong, said on Tuesday that South Korea is not the North's (quote) "principal enemy," and said the regime is not going to fire even a single bullet at the South.
In a statement carried by the North's state media, Kim claimed this was because South Korea is not a match for the regime and its nuclear weapons.

"She is stressing that South Korea will not be a target as long as the South does not take any military action and that the North does not want war. But she's also warning Seoul to take careful actions toward Pyeongyang."

Tuesday's statement came just a few days after Kim Yo-jong issued her first statement in almost half a year over the weekend.
Kim criticized remarks last week by South Korea's defense minister Suh Wook, who said South Korea is capable of launching "preemptive strikes" against the North, and she once again pointed out Suh Wook's comment was "an irretrievable mistake."
She also warned that the North's nuclear forces will be deployed in the event of war, which experts see as the regime's way of justifying its possession of nuclear forces.
Kim's latest comments are particularly alarming as the regime may stage military activities for the upcoming 110th anniversary of the birth of its founding leader Kim Il-sung next Friday as well as the Seoul-Washington joint military exercises.
An official from South Korea's unification ministry said on Tuesday that Seoul is strictly following the North's comments on its nuclear forces and preparing for all possibilities, pointing out the fluid situation on the Korean Peninsula.
