Firouzja पर भारी पड़े Praggnanandhaa ! Norway Chess 2024 के पहले राउंड में हुआ जोरदार मुक़ाबला !

दुनिया के सबसे मजबूत शतरंज टूर्नामेंट में से एक नॉर्वे शतरंज के 12वें संस्करण के पहले राउंड में वैसे तो पुरुष और महिला वर्ग के सभी क्लासिकल मुक़ाबले बेनतीजा रहे पर नॉर्वे शतरंज के खास नियम के तहत राउंड का विजेता निकालने के लिए खिलाड़ियों के बीच एक टाईब्रेक मुक़ाबला खेला गया और इसके बाद विजेता खिलाड़ियों को कुल 1.5 अंक और दूसरे खिलाड़ी को कुल 1 अंक मिला । भारत के आर प्रज्ञानन्दा और फ्रांस के अलीरेजा फिरौजा के बीच केटलन ओपनिंग में 44 चालों में बाजी अनिर्णीत रही और फिर टाईब्रेक में 38 चालों में प्रज्ञानन्दा नें बाजी मारते हुए जीत से अपने अभियान की शुरुआत की ।
In the first round of the 12th edition of the Norway Chess tournament, which is considered one of the strongest chess tournaments in the world, all classical matches in both the men's and women's categories ended in draws. However, according to the special rules of the Norway Chess tournament, a tiebreak match was played between the players to determine the round's winner. After the tiebreak, the winning player received a total of 1.5 points, and the other player received a total of 1 point. In the match between India's R Praggnanandhaa and France's Alireza Firouzja, the game ended in a draw after 44 moves in the Catalan Opening. Praggnanandhaa then won the tiebreak in 38 moves, marking a victorious start to his campaign.
