After the explosions in late September, world leaders quickly pointed the finger at Moscow for the brave and deadly act of sabotage. These explosions caused significant damage to the natural gas pipes under the sea that was being built to deliver gas from Russia to Europe.

This is what US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm told reporters on September 30, four days after the blasts. She also added that Russia "appears" to be at fault. She claimed it is highly unlikely that all of these events are merely coincidental.

Germany's Economy Minister Robert Habeck went as far as to say that Russia's denial of the incidents is the same as saying that Russia is not the villain.

Zelensky also classified the act of sabotage as "a terrorist strike prepared by Russia and an act of hostility towards the European Union."

The Western media reported that the Kremlin planned to shut off the power to millions of people throughout the continent.

And some government officials have described this as an attempt at "intimidation" to get other countries to stop providing Ukraine with financial and military help.

Russia had zero interest in destroying the infrastructure. Therefore, the explanation didn't make any sense.


It also claimed to have invested billions into the project and to have complete control over it. Additionally, it offered its bargaining power with Europe to improve ties.

Twenty-three foreign ministry and intelligence officers from nine countries have reached the same conclusion. And news outlets have also been in touch with them in recent weeks.

After the blasts in the Baltic Sea, investigators combed through the debris and studied the explosive residue that washed up on the seafloor.

Now, the explosions almost certainly caused one of the single largest releases of methane gas that has ever been recorded.

Seismologists pinpointed the exact moments of the three explosions and four breaches on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines that happened on September 26.

Moreover, no one disputes that the damage was deliberate. German authorities are also investigating the situation on their own initiative. They said that the explosives looked to have been placed outside the structures.

According to anonymous sources, no one with knowledge of the attack's forensic specifics has been allowed to disclose the investigation's position. And it's because of the sensitive intelligence upon which some of it is based.

Russian alleged crime on the sabotage charges is a big deal. That’s because one-third of Europe's gas supply was imported through the pipes before they were attacked.

European Union countries have recently lifted restrictions on fertilizer and food imports from Russia. Furthermore, Olaf Scholz has just shown that Germany is ready to restore trade with Russia.
