First, we have Serbia. This country applied for EU membership in 2009; however, its claim over Kosovo is one of the biggest reasons why it has not been allowed into the EU.
Next we have Norway. Unlike many other countries working hardly towards EU membership, Norway took a different path in 2018 when more than 78% of its population voted against joining the EU.
