The Einang runestone (Einangsteinen) is the oldest runestone still standing at its original location, placed there in the 4th century AD, which is more than 1600 years ago! Today we have a unique opportunity to see it up close, look at its ancient Elder Futhark runes, and ponder some of its mysteries.
