Real Madrid set for quiet winter transfer window
Quote (Madrid Zone)
Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that despite having multiple injuries and other squad problems, the club is not going to storm the transfer market this winter: "I can repeat that again. We will not sign a new centre-back in January." Earlier on, it was reported that the Merengues were planning to make a move for a new centre-back due to long term injuries of Eder Militao and David Alaba. A loan transfer for Raphael Varane was even considered a potential solution.
Aleix García could be a cheaper signing than Girona expect

Despite Girona's board claims that the release clause for their captain, Aleix Garcia, is valued at €20 million, Barcelona are certain that there is a possibility of striking a cheaper deal. Blaugrana representatives feel that they can acquire the former Man City performer for €12 million, offering Pablo Torre as an exchange, as well as sending promising centre-back Mikayil Faye on a loan agreement. However, the White and Reds head coach Michel has his own opinion on Aleix's future at the club: "I feel that Aleix will not leave us. Honestly I'd be hurt if Aleix left. I don't say that because of Barça, but just because we would lose a key player for us. But again, I feel he's staying."
Perez wants more big players
Le Parisien
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is not going to be completely satisfied with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe only. The 76-year-old official intends to gather a brand new Galacticos squad in Real Madrid. He believes that for this matter, he needs to sign not only Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius and Jude Bellingham, but Erling Haaland too. The Norwegian has always been dreaming of performing at the Santiago Bernabeu, thus Perez believes he could convince him to quit Manchester City. Perez also thinks that building the said dream team could have encouraged other clubs to join the Super League project in order to have enough money to compete against Real Madrid. Haaland's agreement with the citizens lasts until the summer of 2027, and this summer his release clause will be worth €180 million.

Legendary Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced Real Madrid being the last club of his career: "It's my last job, I confirm it. When this is over, I don't know. I can continue here after 2026, after the success we can have. 2026 may be the last year I coach or not. I want to be a coach and hopefully I can be in 2027 and 2028. I like Madrid and I want to stay here." Moreover, he also confirmed having held talks with the Brazilian Football Federation, but ultimately deciding to extend his deal with Los Blancos.
Sancho returns!

The future of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has already been decided. He is heading back to Borussia Dortmund! The clubs are in the final stages of negotiations. The German side will pay 3 million euros, while Manchester United will continue to pay Sancho a significant part of his salary. Returning to Dortmund was a priority for the English footballer, as he considers it a perfect place to restart his career. Sancho moved to the Red Devils camp back in the summer of 2021 from Borussia Dortmund for 85 million. The last time he entered the pitch was on 26 August, in a tie against Nottingham Forest. Since then, Sancho has not been featured in United's first team training sessions due to a conflict with Erik ten Hag.
