Singapore is making its voice heard at the COP28 climate summit, by playing an active role in international negotiations. It will co-chair with the UK talks on taking stock of the world's progress in the climate fight. It will also co-host with Norway a high-level consultation on climate mitigation. Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean said Singapore has been focusing on energy transition, as well as climate finance for green projects, like renewable energy. Meanwhile, he added that a joint ASEAN power grid will ensure more supply of low-carbon energy and resilience for countries in the region.
