Three years ago, we'd just left the single market and the Daily Express, a brexit supporting newspaper, were hailing the fact that some foreign fishing vessels were banned from British waters. Then, the very next day, they wrote another article expressing outrage that British fishing vessels had been banned from other waters as part of a reciprocal arrangement. The hypocrisy of brexit sovereignty highlighted in two headlines by the same paper.
