Alexey Gerasimov (Russian: Алексей Герасимов; born: Invalid month! 22, 1998 [age 25]), better known online as DaFuq!?Boom! (also known as blugray), is a Russian American YouTuber who creates SFM animations and parodies containing elements from various games, mainly Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Garry's Mod.
He gained subsequent popularity thanks to his ongoing series "Skibidi Toilet" that currently spans over 40+ episodes as of July 2023 and his parody of a song by the Norwegian band Ylvis' "What Does the Fox Say?" under the title "What Does the Big Smoke Say?". As of June 2023, he is currently the fastest growing YouTuber.
At around 5th July 2023, The TikTok account of @dafuqboomtv has been banned for unknown reasons. A likely possibility could be due to either the copyright of the music in the skibidi toilet series, or the TVMan's claw stab attack in "skibidi toilet 46", which may have been considered too violent for the platform. The TikTok ban may also be the reason why there hasn't been a new Skibidi Episode, or season compilation in more than 2 days. On July 11th 2023, Dafuqboom confirmed the news on his backup tiktok account, indeed confirming a community guideline violation, though it remains unknown as whether it has to do with violence or copyright.
Skibidi Toilet
His most known and popular work to date, skibidi toilet, is an ongoing YouTube Shorts series that plays a remixed version of Timbaland's "Give It To Me" (feat. Nelly Furtado) and Fiki's "Chupki V Krusta" (originally ''Dom Dom Yes Yes'' by Biser King); along with the Skibidi Dop Dop Yes Yes meme.
The story follows an ongoing rampant war between the Skibidi Toilets, Cameramen, and their allies Speakermen; the first episode was uploaded on February 8, 2023 in a form of a YouTube Short. They amass more than a few million views and likes on each episode release.
As the episodes continue, the war gets more aggressive with the use of deadly weapons, mind control, and support from opposing sides; the Skibidi Toilets can be defeated by either flushing them or by crushing their heads, with the exception of G-Man toilet.
A new character named "TV Man" just made its full appearance in episode 39. Their ability is to stun, blind, and irradiate Skibidi Toilets that accompanied with The THX Logo, factory, and ambient noises. When unsafe or not useful, they use teleportation to retreat. Since the appearance of TV Men, Skibidi toilets have gained workarounds to their effects, initially by wearing sunglasses, and then blinding and deafening themselves after Titan TV Man gets speaker upgrade in Episode 44, relying on their own camera tech to see where they're going. In Episode 49, TV Women make a debut with the ability to burn skibidi toilets with orange light, and uses it's detachable head to control skibidi toilets.
Since Episode 39, Full screen versions of Skibidi toilets are being released alongside the shorts versions of the release. The Full-Screen videos are edited where the skibidi toilets don't sing (likely to avoid demonitization) and repeat "skibidi" without any background music, whereas the Shorts remain unedited with the Skibidi toilets singing, and with background music in some episodes (except episodes 45-47). The instagram and tiktok versions are often seen as an afterthought as some of them contain singing and music, whereas others do not when compared to the youtube shorts versions, and DafuqBoom also sometimes edits and makes better versions of the same episode, usually reserving that revision for youtube shorts (except episode 20, but was released much later on instagram).
Skibidi Toilets are the titular antagonists of the series of the same name made by DaFuq!?Boom! They are a species of toilets that come in different variants. There is also a Skibidi Urinal, however it only appears in Skibidi Toilet 2 and never comes back.
Appearance
Their appearances can widely vary but are frequently encountered in the form of conventional toilets with human heads protruding from their bowls. Despite this, the heads have the ability to move and contort in uncanny and unnatural ways and will almost if not always be singing that same "brrr skibidi dop dop dop yes yes" song.
