Hvaldimir, a beloved beluga who was speculated to have been used as a spy whale for Russia, has been found dead off the coast of Norway with alleged gunshot wounds.

While the idea of a spy whale seems farfetched, it’s not entirely impossible, as marine mammals are trained by military around the world.

As Heidi Petracek reports, some animal rights groups are calling for a criminal investigation into the whale's mysterious death.
