Belarusian volunteer battalion destroys Russian surveillance tower

A Ukrainian volunteer regiment released footage on March 5 of what the group said showed it carrying out a “kamikaze drone” attack on a surveillance tower in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast.

The Kraken Regiment, formed on February 24, 2022, the day Russia invaded Ukraine, said its intelligence forces “destroyed an autonomous Grenadier surveillance tower in Bryansk Oblast using a kamikaze drone.”

Footage released by Kraken shows the attack from the view of the drone, as well as from a territory west of the target.

Storyful confirmed the site of the attack as Nekislitsa, a small village close to the Russia-Ukraine border.
