Different predators hunt different animals, but what all these predators have in common is that they’re willing to go the extra mile to eat. So, if you’re sitting down and ready to see some old-fashioned animal action, sit tight because we’re getting started.

Leopard Hunts Warthog

A warthog family carefully exits their den, but it doesn’t stop a stalking leopard from grabbing one of the warthogs. The kill is fast and simple as the big cat chokes the warthog to death. This leopard sticks his head into a warthog den, hoping to find a meal, but he can’t seem to be able to pull the warthog out of there. If the warthog is big, it won’t be easy for the big cat to snatch him out of there, but the leopard…ah, there you go…finally…a nice plump warthog for lunch. This leopard is attempting to finish off this warthog, but warthogs are formidable opponents who can do significant damage on their own. No one can argue the warthog is in trouble, but you never know what can happen when two animals are engaged in a fight. On this day, however, the cat is simply too powerful.

Tiger Hunts Deer

Tigers consume a wide range of prey, from insects to elephant calves. Large-bodied prey weighing 45 pounds or more, such as deer, represent an important part of their diet. A deer is attacked by a tiger and there isn’t much the deer can do to fend off the big cat. A large tiger can be seen using stealth in this video to sneak up on an unsuspecting deer. He moves in slowly, and when he feels he’s close enough, he goes for the kill, but the terrain is rocky and uneven, so it’s not going to be easy, but tell that to the tiger, because he doesn’t seem to care as he makes the kill.

For those of you that think tigers are big and slow, think again. Even though they are no cheetahs, watch how this massive tiger sprints into the water and gallops as if he’s in the 100-meter hurdle race, jumping through the water to catch and kill his prey. This is one of the most insane hunts I have seen in a while by a big cat. A tiger can be seen hiding in the tall grass, and when a cute deer runs by, the tiger ambushes the animal, and it’s an easy kill. The deer is young and small and has no chance of surviving an attack by such a powerful animal.
