???????????????? Norwegian Friend in PARADISE of Thai SEAFOOD (Captain Kik's Fish Grill) ???????????

One of the best Esaan meals I think I've ever had, and we're NOT even in Esaan!! My new Norwegian friend (and surely one of Koh Samui's most friendly locals) takes us today to visit Captain Kik. The food here is unreal, the sauces on fire, the flavors mind-boggling... and it is ALL without end!**

**Just about endless really, I think we ordered 2 entire tables of food today... and we sat here until the restaurant was completely sold out!

Yow! Koh Samui is an incredible place, home to equal parts foreigners and Thai alike. As my friend Alix quickly points out, its one of the only places where on can truly build a life without needing to become fluent in Thai language. Although the language part might not apply to me, I can still really appreciate Alix's love for Thailand, appreciate his care for the island of Koh Samui (you won't believe HOW many projects he has going on for this island!), and I am very happy to share in all the stuff we talk about in this video today.

Ok, so! As impressed as I am by Alix, man oh man did the food here at Captain Kik's ever blow ALL of us away tonight. Insanely flavorful, great price, huge plates of Thailand's biggest and best Esaan flavors... this restaurant is incredible.

When you visit Koh Samui, DO NOT miss a visit to Captain Kik's "Miang" Fish Grill.
