The Prime Minister of Denmark has thrown her support behind Greenland and said she’ll help the territory through this “very, very difficult situation".
Mette Frederiksen reiterated her claim that the U.S. “shall not take over Greenland” and added that it was “clear that we need to batten down the hatches even more".
President Donald Trump has repeatedly stated his desire to “take over” Greenland, which is a sovereign territory of the Kingdom of Denmark.
