Norwegian emergency medicine specialist Dr Mads Gilbert has spoken of the “pretty bad” situation in Lebanon at the moment amid Israel’s constant bombardment in the south.

Southern Lebanon has come under constant bombardment from Israel as the IDF attempts to take out Hezbollah after launching “limited raids” in the area.

“We are receiving wounded, dying, and killed people all the time – the situation is very difficult,” Dr Gilbert told Sky News Australia.

“All the hospitals south of Litani ... five local hospitals have been closed down due to the Israeli bombing around at the hospitals also more than 20 paramedic ambulance staff have been killed in the southern part.”
